The Highlight of my Sydney trip - It was very impressive watching John and Clare prepare everything. I mean, everything. ..from registering to finding the right spot to the off, preparing the balloon, all the way until making sure we did not land on undesired spot (the day was lacking wind to help push the ballon towards a better area to land). I am afraid of heights, normally I avoid anything like this, yet I felt so safe. John gave clear instructions, assisted and answered all questions. ..and their knowledge of the area are impressive. Eventhough it was only the two of them taking care of the 7 of us... we never felt unattended, they ran the operation very professional. I recommend them highly.

“It’s such a marvellous experience to ride on a hot air balloon. The view in the air is spectacular. Though it’s only 2 degree when we got to the field, but the excitement overcome the chillness. Thanks for the tips from my friend Raymond, we bought plastic boot covers to keep our shoes dry and it’s really effective and kept our feet warm. 
The crew is very professional and helpful. Big thanks to Clara who has been communicating with me from day 1 of my plan, answering to my every query and drive all the way from Richmond to Sydney in the middle of the night to pick us up to the flying spot and drove us back to the train station afterwards. John the pilot is humorous, gave out clear instructions and proofed to us a save and smooth ride. The trip was filled with fun and excitement. From the setting up to help packing up the huge balloon, we enjoyed every minute of it.

“My son and I enjoyed every minute of the whole experience from inflating the balloon to deflating and packing it away at the end. John (our pilot) was brilliant, he told us what to do and not to do all with a great sense of humour. This was our first ever flight in a hot air balloon and it was tremendously exciting and exhilarating. Getting up at the crack of dawn was a bit daunting, but so worth while! Clare (John’s wife) drove us all in a minibus from our meeting point, to where we would take off from and then picked us up and took us back at the end. They were both very friendly and welcoming and more informative and interesting. The views from the balloon were breath taking and as well as being encouraged to take cameras with us, they took group shots of everyone on the trip at various points throughout the flight. When everyone was departing John very kindly dropped us at the train station and knowing that we were visitors from England, he told us about interesting places to go and see. A marvellous time was had by all.”

“This was really great experience. We got to see the balloon being inflated and then had a glorious flight. The views were spectacular and the professionalism of the pilot was exemplary. The flight takes off around sunrise because that is generally when the winds are at their most gentle. The pilot is very safety conscious (a planned flight a week earlier was called off due to high winds and we took off a little late because of concern over fog), which was very reassuring.”
